ISB STATUS = FUTURE. Based on BS 7988:2002, a British Standard that gives recommendations on the use of information technology (IT) to deliver assessments to candidates and to record and score their responses. Its scope is defined in terms of three dimensions: the types of assessment to which it applies, the stages of the assessment “life cycle” to which it applies and its focus on specifically IT aspects.
The intention is approve this as an inherited standard. Standards development and/or approval of this standard has not been prioritised as part of the 2009-10 Delivery Plan
