Title: Child Reference Number (CRN) (Scrambled)

ISB STATUS = FUTURE. The CRN (which is identical to the NINO used in adult life) is allocated by DWP to all children born in England and to children living in England for whom child benefit is paid. A scrambled version of this number is used by ContactPoint to underpin its Unique Identifier (UID)
